Message from UI Foundation Board Chair and President & CEO

Dear Colleagues:

We did it!  Together we ended FY 2020 with our banners of orange, red, blue, and white flying high.  Congratulations to all of you who worked so hard to ensure the COVID-19 pandemic had as little effect as possible on University of Illinois support.  We look forward to sharing details of the year with you soon, when the numbers are finalized.

Although we have so much to be proud of, there is still more to be done. However, let’s take a moment (or a weekend) to bask in our achievements before focusing on our goals for FY 2021. While you’re at it, take some time to celebrate the red, white, and blue on our country’s 244th birthday. At the Foundation, we tend to measure progress on a yearly basis, but growth, like that of our country, also can be evaluated in terms of decades and centuries. We are confident that years from now, thanks to your dedication, FY 2020 will be remembered as a remarkable start to a new decade for the University of Illinois Foundation.

Best wishes for a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend!

Best,

Kay M. Schwichtenberg                         James H. Moore, Jr.
